Fine grain.
Where is it formed? How is it formed?
Formed in oceans in oceans, lakes, and rivers where rocks settle at the bottom and pile on top of each other year upon year.Then it is turned into a rock.
What minerals does it contain?
Quartz feldspar, and/or breccia.
What size and shape is the grain?
The grain size is medium grain shape angular and rounded.
Is it uniform or non-unifrom?
It is uniform.
What are some of its uses?
It is used for things such as flooring, carving, used in house structure, and lastly things such as coasters, stones, and clocks. It can contain fossils such as sea shells also.
